Photo exhibition for Easter

Now you can feel that spring is on her way. This week we had the group ‘Energy on farms’ (Energi på lantgård) on a study visit. We had exciting discussions about solar warming, glue-laminated beams and whether self-subsistent households really have a future. It was interesting to meet energy-aware farmers and it is the dialogue between us people that is most important. Just so we can develop through and with each other. Afterwards a food appreciation group came to learn how to cook vegetarian food with a well-known local cook. We were able to find a large number of the products she needed in the earth cellar and larder. Right now we ourselves are taste-testing different flavours from vegetarian meals that we are preparing. This because we are putting together a new menu for the Eco-Café before this Saturday, when the first guided tour takes place. The guided tours will also be new. We have prepared showcases that we built with materials from the farm. Together with the energy advisor in Tomelilla municipality, we are working on the development of Solardays 2016. We believe that the sun is the energy source of the future, delivering electricity and warming for free! Spring is on her way, so we started with the premature sprouting and then we cleaned and decorated for Easter, with the photo exhibition “The Settlers” this weekend. Welcome to visit Friday to Monday from 11 to 17!
